Did the same camera that took those first pictures really take that last one? They're all great, but the last one is amazing!

Can't wait to hear more about the trip!

Thanks! We actually borrowed Ceida's camera for the trip (we couldn't find our battery charger =p), so all of these were taken with a Canon SD1000. For the Venice Rialto shot, I used a custom timer mode where it waits one second (to help eliminate shake from my depressed finger) and then does a burst of three shots (no flash). This one was the best out of nine shots taken from the back of a vaparetto. From the EXIF data:

* Exposure Time (1 / Shutter Speed) = 1/4 second = 0.25 second
* Lens F-Number/F-Stop = 32/10 = F3.2
* ISO Speed Ratings = 200
